Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...
2 hari lagi semester summer 2nd half akan tamat. I took an independent study course and 2 arabic classes to finish the beginner level as my refreshments. InshaAllah will continue the intermediate level this Fall.
I think I learned a lot this summer, from personal things to academics stuffs. It's been filled out with lots of knowledge and experience.
Arabic class:
Earlier, my intention to take the beginner class was to refresh my arabic skills that I left 5-6 years ago. Alhamdullilah, it was a big start. Not only I learned the fushah, but also the Egyptian colloquial in every chapter. nice huh? But I like the fushah more... hehe...
Also, not only I learned Arabic, but the history and about other countries and religions too. We had 2 graduate students in Religious Studies major, and other students including an Iranian, and Americans - they're really great and shared what they know. Thanks guys!
-Juga, ada orang tanya tentang politik Malaysia, dan siapa yang saya sokong. Soalan best dari classmate saya yang concern dengan politik dunia.
Independent study:
InshaAllah tomorrow (or today, it's 12 am already) will be the last day. The graduate student that helps me will have a conference on Friday. Anyway, alhamdulillah I'm done (I think~) with 2 demos and the first demo works well. The second one, it has to be finalized today. Thanks to Prof Wilkes and Jonathan who introduced me with C++ using Linux and also playing with Skeeter. My first time using Linux, not so bad~
It's a whole summer of not studying (I'm not practically studying Arabic, I'm practicing Arabic =D). Hope I'll push the gear back up when Fall semester starts!
-balance out of seeking knowledge in both what your major and your religion. Islam perlukan orang-orang hebat seperti anda semua!-
