4th night

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...

*this was written during 4th night of Ramadhan*

It's already 4th night of Ramadhan (subhanaLlah).

While I was watching a news on the demo at the Wall Street in Buletin Utama TV3, suddenly my memories drove me to the past years when I was in States.

Particularly on Ramadhan events, for sure...

We went to ICN (Islamic Center of Nashville) during taraweeh & Qiyamullail. We ate sahuur together with the sisters who always bring good food to share. :)

And we had tadarus Al-Quran online with Malaysian sisters across the States throughout Ramadhan.

And of course, sometimes we had Iftaar together, either just Malaysians, at the ICN or with all muslims in the campus. Then, yeay, taraweeh & tazkirah in between.

In Chicago, in the other hand, while I spent most of my time alone, I met adorable sisters during taraweeh after walking along the Sheridan Road by myself (well, it's just 10 minutes walk).

And I remembered, my friend and I accompanied an aunty with her grandson back to her home few blocks from the prayer hall at the Religious Center. *How brave she is to walk across the dark area by herself just to pray taraweeh!*

Sometimes, a dear friend of mine, Aamna who is now working with Islamic Relief in Chicago sometimes bring me to experience taraweeh at the masjeed nearby.

I wonder how are they doing...

All are in memories, but the spirit should stays. Allahu akram, thank you Allah for giving me the opportunity to feel such wonderful Ramadhan anywhere I go. :)
