After finals was really tiring. Added with my senior design trip to Indianapolis, IN, I planned to do lots of things but I ended up doing only things related to Muktamar. but it was fun, alhamdulillah.. From dealing with the technical stuffs for on-site preparations, to the preparation to welcome of more than 70 friends from northern on the 24th and 25th. Bukan senang nak ramai2 datang Vandy yang jauh hampir ke Southern ni!
On the 24th and 25th, we were almost feel the heat of Muktamar. We rented cars, welcomed our brothers and sisters from North areas (too many universities to mention here), brought them to Indian Cuisine for lunch, packing things and arranging for Penn State since they arrived quite late than expected.
And finally, alhamdulillah we started our journey after Isha' on December 25th. We had so many things to bring for Media, Bazaar, Library till we had to rearrange our bags. It was really full! I got Kia Ronda, which I love it - sampai dah rasa macam kereta sendiri =). We stopped few times along the way to pray, eat, pray and eat. Transit at Lousiana - Lafayette, we prayed Subuh there and continue our journey. 3-4 hours later, we arrived at Hilton Houston, Texas without any problem.
Alhamdulillah, 4 cars from Vanderbilt arrived, 1 had already there, 3 more cars coming on the next day. 3/4 of our speakers had arrived the day before and that day. I met Ummi Ros and Kak Roha, we had lunch at Akh Zabidi's house, 20 minutes from Hilton. And then, back to Hilton to get some rest. Oh, not really.. that night was 'kelam-kabut', and the nights after that too~
