1/3 to go

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...

As far as I've been here for the 5th year, I didn't realize I've gone through more than half (!) of my way to finish my second degree. It's a relief that I'm almost done, but also nervous - afraid that I could not finish on time.

Nevertheless, next week is final week of Winter quarter - I have a 10-page image processing project report due at 6 am Monday, 1 take-home final exam for Probability & Random Processing, and an in -class final exam of Digital Communications.

And then, Spring Break!
5.5 days more... fuh.

The other school (read: my adik2) has already started their break (we have so many different time of Spring Break so we can't really traveling together until Summer). Vandy, UMich, Purdue, etc...

So, this month, as Chicago has been known as one of the famous places to visit, I have so many visitors, mainly from Vanderbilt. (yeay!) Angah did came on Feb 28. I met Bam, Mimie, Nadiah, Aminah, Diba, and few other guys... woah I feel so old thinking that Aminah, Diba, and Zul are graduating inshaALlah!

And Dayana's coming this weekend as well. =)

Despite of having 2 crazy weeks (you know how it is when finals are approaching), I've been blessed with guests alhamduliLlah. Tetamu membawa berkat pada tuan rumah, kan? ;) So, eventhough it's quite tiring that you have to run to class as well as staying up late finishing works, I feel satisfied.

Oh, and last week was a big clumsy week for me. (count: 1) I was locked out of my apartment with my phone inside, so I have to knock on my neighbor's door to borrow his phone. (count: 2) Having to call the worker to unlock the door after office hour, I need to pay $50! Then, (count: 3) I accidentally locked my SIMcard at 2 am, so I can't call the customer service until 7 am to get it unlocked. What else? (count: 4) I broke my camera's LCD screen, now I can't see the pictures I'm taking.

The conclusion was, it all happened in few days.

And all I can say, I have to be calm and not being so 'gelabah' when I don't have phones to call, I still have neighbors to ask. I have Allah to help me think how to solve things. It seems like I rely on technologies so much! *Alhamdulillah, my laptop is still functioning very well.

My brother had his SPM result yesterday, and it was confusing for me to see how good is the result as they use the new grading scheme. But looking at the JPA/MARA requirement for PILN, it seems they set the line (min A-) quite high this year. Anyhow, alhamdulillah again, congratulations to you my dear, and I hope you will get the placement that you're hoping to continue our legacy hahaha~

Alright, it's already too long. My report is still at the 2nd sentence. So long, I'll update more later on inshaAllah.
