Today is the 15th Ramadhan. Subhanallah, time flies really fast - I feel like we just started our fasting months few days ago...
Anyhow, being in Penang was awesome with loads of things happening everywhere. Ramadhan was celebrated alhamdulillah. Even one of my friends said when she went to Queensbay Mall to break fast, it was not a good place to go - it was boring at night, not so many people there.
I'm guessing people didn't go out that much after breaking fast huh? Or at least not wasting time hanging around :)

I went to join the 3R program (Remaja Rai Ramadhan @ Teens Celebrating Ramadhan) at Masjid Daerah Balik Pulau, Penang. It was a blast mashaAllah! We thought the total teens will only be around 70 or less, but it turned out to be 110 teens.
At first, I didn't expect much from them. They were trying to skip some activities by giving lots of excuses - headache, too hot, sprained leg, too cold in the aircond, etc... And during Jejak Fakir slot, I thought, this is going to be lots of complains from them. *It was a super-duper-very tiring slot, even the facilitators were almost surrendered. huhu....*
But at the end of the program, before we separated - they said they really want to stay for a longer time. And even some said, "Can we have our school here next to the Masjid? So we can go to Masjid and have some activities right after school..." I was like, waahh subhanaLlah!~~
So, do we, adults love Masjid like these teenagers do? ;)
